Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our organization’s network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network & IT systems, as well as providing technical support to our users.

Responsibilities:

– Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components

– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues

– Implement and maintain DNS, DHCP, and other network services

– Collaborate with other IT vendors to ensure seamless integration of network systems

– Perform routine network maintenance tasks such as backups and software updates

– Provide technical support to end-users

– Ensure network security by implementing appropriate access controls and monitoring systems

– Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

– Monitor and maintain server infrastructure

– Configure and deploy new PC systems

– Monitor and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

– Monitor and maintain cloud-based web servers

– Manage VoIP phone systems

– Work with management to implement potential new IT systems and projects

Requirements:

– 4+ years of experience with network design and troubleshooting

– 4+ years of experience with server administration & virtualization

– Experience with M365 and Exchange Online

– Network+ / Security+, CCNA, VMCA, or equivalent industry certifications preferred

– Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication

– Experience with cloud managed services

– Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role

– Strong knowledge of network installation, configuration, and support

– Familiarity with VMWare, Windows Server, and Ubuntu operating systems

– Understanding of LAN/WAN protocols and technologies

– Familiarity with Windows 10/11 PC systems

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

– Ability to work independently and in a team environment

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
